Help! My triglycerides are too high! What can I do about it?
Elevated triglyceride levels are fairly common, but they are also reason for concern, because even moderately elevated levels (higher than 150 milligrams per deciliter, or mg/dL) are associated with an increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Levels over 500 mg/dL are also strongly associated with pancreatitis.
