Based on the contemporary American definition of hypertension, you have stage 1 hypertension. Hypertension used to be defined as a blood pressure of 140/90 mmHg or higher, but the definition was changed in 2017 to 130/80 mmHg to recognize that certain groups of individuals do better with lower blood pressures.
