A recent study suggests no; however Cleveland Clinic psychiatrist Leo Pozuelo, MD, associate director of the Bakken Heart-Brain Institute, says that blood pressure management, exercise and other lifestyle adjustments can still help protect against cognitive decline while also bolstering your cardiovascular health.
