Take precautions to prevent heart disease from interfering with travel plans

So long as your condition is stable, your physician will likely give you the go-ahead to travel. With a little advance preparation and some common sense, you should be able to relax and enjoy your vacation.

Having a heart attack or undergoing revascularization can be a sobering experience. It may cause you to question things you used to take for granted, such as whether it’s safe to travel.
